  My partner and I stayed here mid August on our 2nd night of a 10 day road trip of the island. We arrived at the campground at 8pm and were surprised by a sign outside saying they closed their gates at 9pm. We hadn't read this information on their website or anywhere before so we just made it in before they closed everything up. We rented a waterfront full service campsite and we drove up to a packed, but beautiful location right on the water. There seemed to be more RV's than tents, but we still felt like we had enough room on our site. We had water and an electricity hookup. There was apparently wifi but it didn't give the login on their brochure so we couldn't connect. From our tent we had a great, full view of the Ocean, mountains in the distance, and forests. We got to watch the Full Moon rise over the water on a completely empty beach. Our only problem with this campsite were the other guests. We stayed here on a Friday and it seemed sold out, so things were bound to get a bit noisy. However, there were multiple large groups of people staying up until 3/4 am drinking and talking very loudly. There were also people playing loud music and flying drones over the whole campsite. It would have been nice if the campsite had tried to enforce the quiet hour which is usually at 10 or 11. Also, the showers close at 8, which along with the whole campsite closing at 9, was not disclosed on their website, or brochure. Overall, this campsite is on an amazing location, but the lack of privacy and lack of enforcement for the noise curfew tainted our experience a bit. Compared to other campsites, this seemed more independent where travellers are more left to their own devices.
